The Protein G Magnetic Agarose Microspheres from VDO Biotech consists of agarose and nanoscale magnetic particles, with Protein G ligands coupled to the surface of the microspheres. This design eliminates the need for sample centrifugation during magnetics separation, reduces purification time and enhances operational efficiency, making it ideal for high-throughput sample purification applications.

Product Features
High Binding Capacity: ≥70 mg Human IgG per mL of Protein G sediment gel.
High Purity: Achieves high-purity antibodies from real samples such as mouse serum and other animal sera.
Better Suspensibility: 30 μm average particle size for more effective antibody capture.
Better Hydrophilicity: Self-manufactured nano magnetic particles reduce nonspecific adsorption greatly.
Faster Magnetic Response: Quick adsorption in solution, magnetic response ≤ 3s.
Fully Automated: Compatible with VDO Biotech’s automated system for the entire automatic purification process from microsphere pretreatment, binding, washing, to recovery.

1. High Recovery
The binding capacity of VDO and competitor R Protein G magnetic agarose beads was tested using human IgG standard. Results showed that VDO Protein G magnetic agarose beads had a binding capacity of 95 mg/mL of settled gel, with a total elution yield of 81 mg/mL of settled gel across two elution steps, corresponding to an overall recovery rate of 85%. VDO Protein G magnetic agarose beads exhibited comparable binding capacity to the competitor while achieving higher recovery.
2. Purification from Real Samples (Mouse and Rabbit Serum)
Under the same experimental conditions, antibodies were purified from mouse and rabbit serum using VDO and competitor R Protein G magnetic agarose beads. The elution yields of VDO Protein G magnetic agarose beads were 57 mg/mL and 58 mg/mL of settled gel for the two samples, respectively. Notably, VDO demonstrated higher yield and purity in the purification of antibodies from mouse serum.

3. Purification from Real Samples (Bovine, Goat, and Sheep Serum)
Under the same conditions, antibodies were purified from bovine, goat, and sheep serum using VDO and competitor R Protein G magnetic agarose beads. VDO Protein G magnetic agarose beads consistently showed higher yield and purity in these serum samples.
