VDX MMA ultra——High Salt Tolerance Mixed Mode Series
VDX MMA ultra is a high-resolution multimodal chromatography resin. This chromatography resin significantly enhances the resolution of separation and purification through special surface modification and ligand structure optimization, making it particularly suitable for the polishing of biomolecules under high salt conditions (removal of antibody dimers, aggregates, host cell proteins and nucleic acids, etc.).
What's the difference between VDX MMA ultra and traditional ion exchange resin?
MMA ligand enables various interactions with target molecules, primarily via strong anion exchange, alongside hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions. VDX MMA ultra, a high salt-tolerant multi-mode medium in the VDX series, offers unique selectivity. Unlike traditional ion exchange media, it efficiently binds target proteins under high-conductivity conditions, enhancing purification efficiency for complex samples. This makes it ideal for purifying monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, and other biopharmaceuticals.

High Salt Tolerance: Enables efficient target binding at high salt concentrations, minimizing sample dilution requirements.
High Recovery Rates: Outperforms comparable products with its reliable protein recovery efficiency.
Unique Selectivity: Combines hydrophobic and ion-exchange interactions for enhanced specificity in protein adsorption.
